Ms. Rivithula Fernando is an Assistant Engineer and Lecturer with over 10 years of experience in higher education and professional training. Her expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Network Security, Linux Systems Administration, Computer Networking, Data Science, and Applied Computing.

She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Network and Information Security (Distinction) from Kingston University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Systems and Networking (First Class Honours) from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. In addition, she has completed a Full Technological Diploma in Telecommunication Systems awarded by City & Guilds, London, and holds the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.

Ms. Fernando delivers lectures to undergraduate students enrolled in University of Hertfordshire-affiliated B.Eng. and B.Sc. degree programmes conducted at the SLT-Mobitel Nebula Institute of Technology. She is also responsible for designing and delivering professional training programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Linux Systems Administration, and Information Technology for both technical and non-technical audiences.
